Thankful
Everyone is posting what they are thankful for and I figured I would jump on the bandwagon because I am thankful for a lot. Here they are in no particular order.
#1 These A-holes. I would not spend countless hours sweeping up your hair unless I loved you. A lot. Hank I apologize earlier this year when I thought about putting you on Craigslist. I take it all back.
#2 Friends-
All of my friends are so different but I cannot imagine living without a single one of them.
This year they threw me the most amazing Engagement party. It took so much planning and I am so thankful. They are already planning what I know will be the most amazing Bachelorette party ever. I cannot tell you how special you have made me feel. I do not take a single one of them for granted. You all keep me sane, make me laugh, and I love all of you!
#3- Boyfriennnn/Fiance/Future Husband
Thank you for painting me stripes, cooking me dinner all the time, feeding our dogs, being considerate, making me laugh, asking me to marry you, dealing with wedding planning, mowing the grass, changing the oil in my car, being romantic, being smart, being my personal trainer, disciplining Hank(because I can't), taking me to NYC for my birthday, starting my car in the morning when it is cold, and most of all thank you for loving me so much even though I know it is hard. Shew.
Last but not least..
#4 My fam/MOM-
This year has been really stressful with wedding planning. We have had a lot more arguements than normal about things that really do not matter like crow's feet, BBQ, and multiple wedding dresses but I know none of it matters. Thank you for everything you do. You are the best mom in the world. I love you for being you, glitter and all. Josh you really do not do much as far as wedding planning goes but you are really funny. I cannot forget to mention how thankful I am that I still have 3 of my grandparents who are crazy cool. Seriously my grandmother is taking belly dancing lessons for our wedding. She did tell me she will not be belly dancing but wants to get "in tune" with her body. I like it.
That is all.
Good to reflect on blessings.

Christmas Came Early...
In a singing/rap voice...
I got new pillows from Furbish.
Yeah yeah yeah.
They are my favorite thing until I buy something else from there.
Yeah yeah yeah.
Singing has stopped.
They had peonies at Trader Joes.
It does not take much to make me happy these days.

Wedding Wednesday
This wedding featured in Style Me Pretty stopped me dead in my tracks. I don't know if I am more obsessed with the colors, the bride's dress, or the fact that Emmy Rossum was one of her bridesmaids. Enjoy!

Guest Bedroom: Coming Together
I have been working on the guest bedroom for as long as I can remember. After getting a little side tracked I am back on schedule. I finally pulled the trigger and ended up going with the Pottery Barn Teen bedding.
I am very interested to see what it looks like in person. It is pretty cheap which makes me think it is going to look cheap when I get it. I will let you know in 5-7 bussniess days. I decided not to get it monogrammed at Pottery Barn. They have no options and there are always local mongramers who have books and books of different fonts.

On a lighter note...
I apologize for the public freak out yesterday but sometimes it just helps to get it all out. Luckily I have really wonderful friends who are coming to stay with me this weekend and will take my mind off all of this wedding nonsense.
I need some really hot black booties so I can wear this outfit. This is a difficult task. Any recommendations? (Jordan, cough cough)

Wedding Dress Update
Oh where do I begin. I am going to take this time to vent. I have some serious anxiety--my armpits are sweating as we speak. I am on a serious budget and am now the proud owner of not one but TWO wedding dresses. While it may look like I am a baller (I mean seriously, who has TWO wedding dresses?) I am actually about to have panic attack because I am the exact opposite. On Friday I fell in love. I did not even know you could fall in love with a dress but you can. I started this whole wedding process "not caring". Every place I went to try on dresses the sales associates hated me because I could not stand any of the dresses. I mean what is the big deal? They are all white dresses that cost way too much money. I would rather have a refrigerator or a couch. I will be the first person to admit I have been a "Debby Downer" about wedding planning. I am not organized, I procrastinate, and I am on a budget. Now I am all giddy and losing sleep over a DRESS. It is weird because you know how all these people tell you all this BS about putting on a dress and knowing. It turns out they are not lying. I do not know if I can wait until May to wear it. If you see a crazy woman at the dog park, or in the grocery store, or at the bar in a wedding dress it is probably me. I found this mood board I created when I first found out I was engaged. It was exactly what I wanted my wedding to look like. Somehow everything is right back where I wanted it. Notice the dress...
Now go tell your friends to buy my other wedding dress. Even though I just went on and on about another dress this one is pretty bad arse too.

J Crew Spring
We did not even make it through fall before I am already obsessing over Spring. I really try not to reblog but when I saw this on the The Rix Mix I literally could not contain myself. Holy pink on pink. The high waists and wider legs are making me all in love quickly. Go check out Jordan's blog for the article.

A few Favorites
We finally got all of our engagement pictures back. The first one if my favorite. When I think of Doug I see him in that hat and he probably sees me eating something like a fat kid. Minus realizing I have crow's feet...holy wrinkles and Doug sometimes has crazy eyes I think they were "very us".
